Sisters Strutt their artistic stuff

Identical twins Catherine and Jennifer Strutt are bringing their joint artistic vision to Hobart with the opening exhibition at Penny Contemporary Gallery.

‘Assemblages’ showcases the Strutt Sisters’ unique bricolage, inspired by colour, music, Scandinavian design and a 1950s aesthetic.”There is something ‘happy’ about the 1950s we like to tap into,” Jennifer said.

Catherine and Jennifer said they work on the same wavelength and make all design decisions together.

“We have the same work and style in mind but with double the energy and ideas to make one great work,” Jennifer said.

“Assemblages” will show at Penny Contemporary Gallery until November 14th.
